本周於美國奧蘭多舉行的國際道路協會（International Road Federation,IRF）所頒發的「2024年全球道路成就獎設計類」首獎由「金門大橋工程」獲得殊榮！
金門大橋是台灣首座長跨距海上特殊公路橋梁，全長5.4公里，主橋跨徑達200公尺，大橋的興建具備高風險性與高技術性，堪稱工程界的挑戰，這個獎項也證明了台灣工程技術的發展與成熟，恭喜獲獎！
Congratulations! Taiwan’s Kinmen Bridge wins top prize at Global Road Achievement Awards!
Kinmen Bridge, Taiwan‘s longest cable-stayed bridge, earned first place in the design category of the Global Road Achievement Awards, presented by the International Road Federation in the United States. Kinmen Bridge is Taiwan’s first deep-water cross-sea bridge. The landmark eliminates the need to rely on ferry schedules for travel to and from Lieyu, providing a more convenient travel option for residents and visitors! Congratulations!（文圖/美國在台協會）
